Benefits on IV Nutrient Therapy & Injections

    Vitamin and Mineral Injections

Cells need the raw materials provided by vitamins and minerals in order to function. Without them, they cannot initiate vital metabolic processes essential to our overall health. Although most of us obtain essential nutrients by eating the right foods, even consuming a diet rich with fruits, vegetables and grains may not give the body the pure power that vitamin/mineral injections provide in order to remain dynamic and healthy. By giving these nutrients directly into the body by injection, we bypass the need to absorb them from the gastrointestinal tract and have excellent and direct delivery for immediate and lasting responses.

Even people who normally experience good health can enhance their overall physical and cognitive well-being by periodically experiencing vitamin/mineral infusions.

    I.V. Therapy

This treatment uses high dose vitamins and minerals that are directly administered to the blood stream, thereby passing the absorption processes of the GI tract. This leads to nutrients that are quickly circulated through your bloodstream, where they are immediately available for use. These therapeutic levels of vitamins and minerals cannot be reached via oral doses. There is a large volume of research showing the benefits of high dose vitamin/minerals in the body, particularly when nutrients are deficient.

By performing comprehensive nutritional diagnostic testing, we will determine the levels of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in a patient’s body to determine the deficiencies affecting overall health, as well as specific medical conditions. This allows us to provide targeted nutritional infusions to quickly reverse the deficiencies.

Clinical studies have shown that there are specific blood or tissue concentrations of certain nutrients that must be achieved for them to be pharmacologically active. Vitamin C is a good example of such a nutrient. Numerous studies show high concentrations of Vitamin C are required in the serum and intracellular fluid before it can exert its beneficial effects.

These high concentrations simply cannot be achieved by taking the nutrients orally. Many supplements when taken orally are excreted before they can be absorbed. Complicating this further is that many patients have conditions that impair their intestinal absorption in the first place. Furthermore, many patients cannot tolerate high doses of certain vitamins and minerals due to stomach upset. In these situations, only intravenous vitamin therapy can directly deliver pharmacologically effective doses of the required nutrients.

Another advantage of infusing nutrients is that there are fewer side effects. Upset stomach or intestinal problems like cramps, nausea, or diarrhea, can sometimes result from taking high doses of certain vitamins and minerals orally, such as Vitamin C, B vitamins and magnesium. Intravenous vitamin therapy bypasses the stomach and intestines allowing for high intake of many nutrients without these uncomfortable side effects.
